How we work
From first idea to finished building
Four stages, with planning handled for you. You can see what is achievable before you commit to the next step.
Planning
We turn the agreed design into the drawings and documents for your local planning authority, and manage the application on your behalf, engaging with planners where needed.
Tender and building control
We refine the drawings for building control and prepare detailed documents so builders can give accurate prices, giving you a clear basis for choosing the right contractor.
Construction
We help you find the right builder and guide you from groundbreaking to completion, making sure your design is faithfully realised.
The studio
Founded in 2019 by James Ford and Ells Stone
Calypso Studios grew from a passion for creating beautiful, inspired architecture. We have built a reputation for high-quality, elegant and cost-effective buildings, homes and commercial spaces that enhance communities and stand the test of time.
Based in Hampton Court, we are proud to be part of the local community of makers, while our projects extend nationally.
